We are looking for a full time Equity dealer with a 0 to 1 year of experience to join our team, working in a fast-paced environment in the city of Bengaluru, India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Increase client base: Increase our client base by referring potential new clients on regular basis and re-activate the dormant accounts.
  • Market Monitoring: Punch in the market orders according to clients’ request and in an accurate manner with a minimal error. And to monitor financial markets, economic indicators, and news related to relevant industries. Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors that may impact investment decisions.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks associated with investments, such as market volatility, industry-specific risks, and regulatory changes.
  • Portfolio Management: To develop and maintain investment portfolios that align with client objectives and risk tolerance. Maintaining trading files (net positions) and voice logs daily.
  • Client Communication: Prepare and present reports, investment recommendations, and financial analysis findings to management. Addressing client queries and concerns effectively on time.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, including research analysts, traders, and relationship managers, to exchange insights, validate investment strategies, and contribute to overall firm objectives. Participate in team meetings and share knowledge and best practices.
  • Communicating with clients: To communicate their research findings to clients in a clear and concise manner. Should be able to explain complex financial concepts and investment strategies to clients in simple terms.
  • Collaborating with other departments: Liaise with internal sales and trading team for responding to news, corporate action, and reporting events. You will be expected to maintain a procedure protocol for escalating emerging news.
  • Continuous learning and upskilling: Maintain a public image for the firm at conferences/events. Communicate the company’s research, building its brand.

Technical and Functional Skills:

  • Should have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.com, BBA, BBM, BCA) / Master’s Degree (M.com, MBA-Finance, PGDM)
  • Should be NISM Viii certificate holder (Derivative certificate for equity dealer)
  • At least 1 year of experience in financial firm.
  • High levels of energy enthusiasm, commitment and productivity, Proactive, effective influencer, result oriented.
  • Time management and ability to resolve issues quickly.
